International Center Jordan Henriquez-Roberts (214-C-89, college: Kansas St.) of Saigon Heat top the Panamanian players abroad with his double-double in his two games played this week in the Asian League. He scored 30pts 17reb 3ast and 2blk in the win over Hong Kong Eastern Long Lions and in the second game he scored 20pts 17reb 5ast and 3blk in the win over Jobstreet.com Singapore Slingers

Second place goes to combo guard and former NBA Doron Lamb (193-G-91, college: Kentucky) of Westchester Knicks in the D-League with his 20 points 6 rebounds 3 assists and 1 steal in the win over the Long Island Nets. In this game Akil Mitchell (206-F-92, college: Virginia) also from Panama didnt play due to injury.

Third Place was for another former NBA the veteran swingman Gary Forbes (201-G/F-85, college: Virginia) of Aerochaco Boca Juniors Capital Feder with this 19points 7rebounds and 3assists in the win 98-92 over Asociacion Quimsa Santiago del Estero in the National League of Argentina.

4. Jamaal Levy (206-F/C-83, college: Wake Forest) of Weber Bahia Blanca Basket 11points 11rebounds and 2assists in the lost against Guaros de Lara in the Finals of Liga de Las Americas.

Marinos de Anzoategui (LPB) added to their roster experienced 41-year old Panamanian forward Michael Hicks (196-93kg-76, college: Texas A&M-CC). He played last season at Hebraica in Uruguayan LUB league. In 37 games he recorded very impressive stats: 16.9ppg, 4.7rpg, 2.4apg and 1.3spg. Hicks helped them to win the league title (twice) (also twice). Panama Centro pull an upset agains Colon and won the U-17 Nationals - 18 days ago
Panama Centro won the U-17 National Tournament in overtime 77-74 over the unbeaten and tournament favorites Colon. The Panama Central team won the first quarter 17-13, the second 27-17 to have a 14 points lead at the half. Colon reacted in the third quarter winning 16-14 to cut the deficit to 12 going in the fourth quarter. They pressure in the last quarter to tie the game at the end 68-68.
