Penarol Quillacollo (Libobasquet) agreed terms with 26-year old American center Alphonso Leary (208-93kg-91, college: Virginia State). He played last summer at Correcaminos in Panamanian LPB league, but left the team in August. But in three games he had just 1.3ppg and 1.0rpg. The last season Leary played at Real Canoe in Spanish EBA where in 9 games he recorded 8.1ppg and 6.0rpg.
He graduated from Virginia State in 2015 and it will be his second season as a professional player.

Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Panamanians who are currently playing abroad. This week's number one is an experienced international forward Michael Hicks (196-76). He could not help Hebraica (5-5) in their last game.
