There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in Metropolitan League.

The most exciting game of round 3 in the Metropolitan League took place in Asuncion. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of Arcabasket (0-3) to Libertad (3-0) 82-79 on Thursday evening. The hosts trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 10-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 82-79. Libertad is looking forward to face San Jose (#6) in Asuncion in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Arcabasket will play against Luqueno and hopes to get finally their first victory.
Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Asuncion: Felix Perez (#3) and San Jose (#6). San Jose was defeated at home 59-67 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Felix Perez's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Asuncion Olimpia.
Very significant was Olimpia's (#2, 3-0) victory against Luqueno (1-2) 97-79. Olimpia's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Asuncion to the arena Felix Perez.

Olimpia - Luqueno 97-79

Very significant was Olimpia's (#2, 3-0) victory against Luqueno (1-2) 97-79. The game was mostly controlled by Olimpia. Luqueno managed to win second period 22-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Olimpia's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Asuncion to the arena Felix Perez.
