There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Second Stage in Metropolitan League.

The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Asuncion: Olimpia (#1) and Felix Perez (#3). Olimpia (2-0) smashed visiting Felix Perez (0-2) by 47 points 103-56. The game without a history. Olimpia led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Olimpia's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Asuncion Libertad.
An exciting game was played in Asuncion. Libertad faced Luqueno. Host Libertad (2-0) defeated guests from Luque (0-2) 80-69. Libertad's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Asuncion to the arena Olimpia.

Luqueno was better in second period 17-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Libertad won last quarter 23-14. San Jose and Olimpia reach the Final as they finished on top of Final Four Stage. In the last game San Jose overcame Libertad 89-83. Both teams were tied at 61-61, while San Jose pulled the lead and won the game. Olimpia finished on top beating Sol de America 84-78. They trailed 5 points at the end of the third period, but managed to dominate the last quarter and won the game.   [read more]
