Paraguayan Male 77nd Metro Pro League is updated to start 15th of March
Finally Managers and Owners finally got into an agreement about the final starting date.

Two many points to arrange over the table finally came to an agreement like the inclussion of
Sol de America Asuncion, Capiata, and the continuation of Campo Alto which was in danger.

Luque and Sportivo San Lorenzo did not agree for Sol to be included because they lost the PRO CATEGORY
last year by not participating at the 2016 PRO LEAGUE- However, since Cerro.s quitting and Arca Basket
as well they decided to include SOL and CAPIATA without needing to play at lower division to have rights
to participape at PRO level.

CAPIATA- Sol de America Asuncion- FELIZ PEREZ- OLIMPA- Sportivo San Lorenzo- Dpvo LUQUENO- Libertad Asuncion
CAMPO ALTO and Ciudad Nueva will be joining the 77th METRO PRO EDITION 2017

To begin with 2 teams seems to be in much better shape than the rest- Olimpia de Asuncion (last champ) and Libertad (2nd place).
Olimpia singned last year to Guillermo Araujo (204-C-82, agency: Pro Sports) for 2 seasons, also to Alejandro Peralta (195-F-91), two of the best paraguayan players right now.

Luque is also a big contender but of course it will depend a lot os what kind of foreigner they bring to compensate the lack
of big man they have in their roster. Last year they came aout short with their roster to reach the CLAUSURA,s final series.

Libertad Asuncion (Metropolitan League) added to their roster American forward Lenjo Kilo (203-109kg, college: Savannah State). He played last season at T.Hesperange in Luxembourg N2 league.
