College Sports Club inks Nathaniel Roche, ex Regatas - Feb 2, 2013

Roche
College Sports Club (Premier League) signed 25-year old American forward Nathaniel Roche (203-104kg-88, college: Belhaven). Roche managed to play in three leagues in three countries last year (!!!). He played last summer at Regatas in Peruvian Superior. He also played at Quimper UJAP (ProB) in French league that season. In 12 games last season he had 8.3ppg and 6.5rpg. The other team Roche played shortly was Pioneros (LNBP) in Mexican league. In two games he recorded 3.0ppg and 3.0rpg. Another team he played briefly was Universitario (LUB) in Uruguayan league. In two games he recorded 3.0ppg and 3.0rpg.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as Roches team won Sun Belt West Division Regular Season in 2007. He was also voted All-NAIA D1 Honorable Mention in 2010 and 2011 at his college time.
Roche has played also professionally in Uruguay (Universitario Salto).
He attended Belhaven College until 2011 and it will be his second season as a professional player.

Inmaculada advance into LBL semifinals - May 19, 2016

Inmaculada became the first LBL finalists. They swept the semifinal series versus San Marcos. Inmaculada followed the victory in Game 1 with a convincing display in the second clash. Inmaculada rallied to an 81:60 road win to complete the sweep. Real Club in the meantime extended the semifinal series versus EOFap. Real Club lost the opener. However they managed to avoid relegation. Real Club defeated EOFap 79:46 in Game 2 to force the decider.   [read more]
Inmaculada and EOFap open playoff with wins - May 17, 2016

Inmaculada and EOFap celebrated victories at the start of the Liga de Lima quarterfinal stage. Inmaculada defeated San Marcos in the opener. The hosts dominated from start to finish. Inmaculada celebrated a comfortable 94:66 victory at the end. EOFap had to work much harder for their win. They traded baskets throughout the whole encounter with Real Club but managed to get away with a 71:67 victory. The second games in both series are scheduled for Wednesday.    [read more]
LBL Round 11: Derby game ends with Regatas' defeat of San Marcos - May 14, 2016

What a coincidence that all visitors won their games. The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Lima: Regatas (#1) and San Marcos (#6). San Marcos were crushed at home by 21 points 72-93 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Regatas (10-3) have an impressive series of seven victories in a row.
