LBL Round 4 of Regular Season - Mar 15, 2016

The most interesting game of round 4 was a home defeat of bottom-ranked El Bosque (0-2) by fifth ranked Ejercito (1-1) who outscored them by 63 points 104-41. It was the only win of guest team this round and in all other games host teams recorded victories. Ejercito left bottom position moving up to fourth place, which they share with EOFap. El Bosque at the other side still closes the standings with two games lost. They share the position with San Marcos. Ejercito will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. El Bosque will play against Sub-17 (#6) and hopes to get finally their first victory.

MARQUIS MATHIS Regatas Lima (LBL) added to their roster 28-year old American forward Marquis Mathis (200-104kg-89, college: W.Florida). He moved there from played at Worthing Thunder in British NBL D1 where he started the season. In 13 games he had very impressive stats: 21.9ppg, 10.4rpg, 2.5apg, 1.3spg and 1.0bpg this season. The most interesting game of round 7 was a home defeat of 6th ranked Inmaculada (2-5) by fifth ranked Bastilla (3-4) who outscored them by 17 points 87-70 in the game for the fifth place. There will be only one (last) round of the Regular Season in LBL. Coincidentally all hosts won their games. Here is the last round review presented by ESL. The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Lima: Regatas (#1) and Inmaculada (#5). Regatas (6-0) won against visiting Inmaculada (2-4) 71-65.
