LBL is at the halfway of the Regular Season and there are still another 7 rounds left. Host teams show no mercy winning all games.

Bottom-ranked San Marcos (0-4) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 103-79 loss to second ranked Ejercito (3-1) in on Monday evening. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. Ejercito have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place with 3-1 record having just one point less than leader Real Club, which they share with Regatas. San Marcos at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. They share the position with El Bosque. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

Here is the last round review presented by ESL. The most shocking disappointment of round 3 in the LBL was a home defeat of Inmaculada (1-2) to EOFap (2-1) 70-57. EOFap is looking forward to face Bastilla (#5) in the next round. Inmaculada will play against Bastilla and it may be a tough game between close rivals. Very significant was Real Club's (#6) 60-55 road victory against Bastilla. Real Club will play against Circolo (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy...   [read more]
