An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Lima. Leader Real Club faced 4th placed EOFap. Guests from (5-0) defeated host EOFap (3-3) 72-63. Undefeated Real Club have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader. EOFap at the other side dropped to the fifth place with three games lost. Real Club will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. EOFap will play against Regatas (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
San Marcos can celebrate finally their first win this season after five consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat El Bosque (0-7) 65-36. It was the only win of host team this round and in all other games visitors recorded victories. San Marcos maintains sixth place with 1-5 record. It was El Bosque's seventh loss in a row. They still close the standings with seven games lost.

Faraday and La Salle de Arequipa advance to the semifinals of LNB league. La Salle finished Serie A with a 3-0 record winning all three games. In the third game they beat Faraday 79-77. Joseph Pope (196-F/G-88, college: Mercy, agency: Aspire Sports) top-scored for the winners with 32 points, whilst Carlos Nunez had 14. Yavario Smith(182-PG-89, college: Central Mo.) netted 23 points in a loss and Milos Petcovich poured in 22. Faraday finished second with a 2-1 record.   [read more]
Regatas clinch Liga de Lima Clausura title - 14 days ago
Regatas clinched Liga de Lima Clausura title in Peru sweeping the Final series against EOFap 2-0. In Game 1 Regatas posted an 81-59 win. Last night Regatas added a final 54-47 victory to celebrate the title. EOFAP looked better in the first half and posted two victories including 16-7 in the second frame. Regatas however replied with 17-7 run in the third period and closed the game with a final 18-10 surge.   [read more]

San Jose inks Delwan Graham, ex Regatas - 16 days ago
Deportivo San Jose Asuncion (Metropolitan League) signed 29-year old American forward Delwan Graham (203-88, college: Jacksonville). He played last summer at Regatas in Peruvian LBL league. He helped them to win the league title despite they ended the regular season at the second place. The last season Graham played at CA Temperley in Argentinian TNA where in 31 games he had 14.6ppg and 8.9rpg (#4 in the league).
