LBL is at the halfway of the Second Stage and there are still another 5 rounds left. What a coincidence that all visitors won their games.

The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Inmaculada (8-2) in Lima on Wednesday night. Hosts were defeated by fifth ranked Ejercito (6-3) 86-70. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Inmaculada. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Ejercito moved-up to second place, which they share with Regatas and Real Club. Inmaculada at the other side still keeps top position with two games lost. Ejercito's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Lima to the arena San Marcos.
Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Lima: Regatas (#4) and El Bosque (#7). El Bosque was crushed at home by 28 points 43-71 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Regatas have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Real Club and Ejercito. El Bosque at the other side still closes the standings with ten games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
