Barquisimeto, Venezuela.- After a successful 6-game stint as foreign players for Power de Ayacucho in Peru's Super 8 action, Venezuelans Reimer Machado, Junior Martinez (200-F-92) and Gregory Curvelo (190-G-90) are switching teams to keep playing overseas.

Machado, who averaged 19.0 points, 5.0 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game in 6 games, will move to Regatas de Lima to be a part of the structure that will participate in the upcoming 2016 South American League.

Meanwhile, Martinez and Curvelo will move to Monumental Heat of Huancayo. Martinez averaged 22.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 3.0 blocks and 2.0 assists in 6 games, while Curvelo was also brilliant, including 5 double-double games with averages of 24.0 points, 10.0 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 2.0 blocks per game in 6 games.

Power de Ayacucho was coached by Venezuelan Jean Carrasco, a young coach making his pro debut overseas. Another team with a young Venezuelan coach in Peru was Juventus Lambeyeque, hiring Darwin Veliz for the task.

Other Venezuelan players in the league are Kelvin Caraballo (195-F-88), Jaime Finol (195-F-87) and Luis Mora (188-G-99), playing for Trujillo BCT, Elvis Baez (189-PG-89), playing for UCP Iquitos, Johnathan Figuera (198-F-90) and Amber Marin (208-C-81), as part of SHK Juliaca Huancayo and Jorge Parra (206-C-84, college: NE Oklahoma A&M CC), playing for Faraday Arequipa.
  



LBL Round 15: Real Club loses to EOFap - 5 days ago
The biggest surprise took place in Lima where host EOFap (8-7) beat league's leader Real Club (12-3) 66-52 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Real Club. EOFap maintains fourth place with 8-7 record. Real Club at the other side dropped to the second position with three games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Regatas. Lleon Tillman (ex Cantbasket) agreed terms with San Jose - 6 days ago
San Jose Arequipa (LNB) strengthened their roster with addition of 25-year old American forward Lleon Tillman (198-88kg-92, college: W.Alabama). He spent his 2-year professional career in Spain. He moved there from Cantbasket in Spanish EBA league where he started the season. In 25 games he recorded 11.5ppg, 8.9rpg, 1.6apg and 1.2spg this season. The biggest surprise took place in Lima where host Inmaculada (9-5) beat league's leader Regatas (12-2) 70-62 on Wednesday evening. It ended at the same time the nine-game winning streak of Regatas.
