Here is a list, in chronological order, of the BSN Awards for the 2011 season as voted by the specialized press, media personnel and coaches and owners:

Denis Clemente (185-PG-86, agency: KMG Sports Management, college: Kansas St.) won almost unanimously the Rookie of the Year award.


Shavlik Randolph (208-F-83, college: Duke) won Import Player of the Year, followed closely by Mike Harris (198-F-83, college: Rice).

Kleon Penn (211-C-86, agency: Paris Global Sports, college: McNeese St.) won Defensive Player of the year, with Javier Mojica (190-G-84, agency: Alti Sport, college: Cent.Conn.St.) coming in a distant second and Richard Chaney (196-G-84, college: Troy) a more distant third.

Ricky Sanchez (212-C/F-87) won the Most Improved Player award by a landslide, with Johwen Villegas (193-G-85, college: FIU), who
had a breakout season, coming in a distant second.

Nelson Colon won Coach of the Year and Edwin Mundo won GM/Owner of the Year for Atleticos de San German.

Guillermo Diaz (188-G-85, college: Miami, FL) won Finals MVP.

The All Defensive team was named with Kleon Penn, Ricky Sanchez, Carmelo Antrone Lee (201-F-77, agency: Paris Global Sports, college: Long Beach St.), Richard Chaney and Javier Mojica.

Christian Dalmau (194-G-77, agency: Paris Global Sports, college: Daytona Beach CC) won his second consecutive MVP, followed by Peter John Ramos (222-C-85) and Angel Daniel Vasallo.

Aguada - Bayamon 104-82 Aguada rallied past Bayamon to draw things level at 2-2 in the series. The game without a history. Santeros led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Ferrocarril Oeste Capital Federal (LigaA) signed 31-year old Puerto Rican ex-international power forward Ramon Clemente (200-85, college: Wichita State). It is actually his comeback to Buenos Aires as he played here before. Clemente is a dual citizen owning also American passport. Bayamon - Aguada 92-79 Bayamon outgunned Aguada to take 2-1 lead in the semifinal series. The game was mostly controlled by Vaqueros. Santeros managed to win third quarter 24-22.
