Indios de Mayaguez announced the signing of center Jeffrion Aubry (205-C-76, agency: Paris Global Sports, college: Cornell) for next season.

Aubry played since 2008 for Capitanes de Arecibo and is known as the best defensive center in the league. Indios tried to acquire him before via trade but it never materialized.

He is now playing under coach Eddie Casiano in Halcones Rojos where he averages 6.2 points and 5.3 rebounds this season. Aubry is expected to have a bigger role with Mayaguez who defends their title next season.
