Leones de Ponce announced their three imports and the coaching staff for the 2013 BSN season in a press conference.

The new team owner, Oscar Santiago, announced that their three imports for next season are Diogu Ike (204-F/C-83, college: Arizona St.), Mike Harris (198-F-83, college: Rice) and Dominican guard Elpidio Fortuna (188-G-85). This announcement has created a lot of excitement in the city as the team was inactive over the past two seasons.

Santiago also announced Nelson Colon as their head coach and his assistants are Roberto Jose Hatton (187-PG-76, college: Marist), Edgardo Bofil and Fernando Toro. Hatton was a former league MVP in Ponce and announced his retirement last month due to a knee injury.

Leones currently have Carlos Rivera (187-PG-83, agency: Paris Global Sports, college: Hofstra), Carlos Figueroa, Jonathan Rodriguez and Gabriel Colon in their roster. Management is looking for options in free agency and also the draft where they have the third, sixth and ninth pick in the first round.
