BSN approved the deal where Quebradillas sent Joel Jones (196-G/F-81, agency: Paris Global Sports, college: Sacramento St.) and the eighth pick in the rookie draft to San German for Jesse Pellot-Rosa (193-G-84, agency: Paris Global Sports, college: VCU) and the fourth pick.

Jones averaged 12.79 points, 4 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 24 games with Quebradillas. After Quebradillas he went to the Dominican Republic where he played for Indios SFM and then for Boca Juniors in Argentina.

Pellot-Rosa played 13 games last season with San German and averaged 9.5 points. He then played for Caneros in the Dominican Republic and left shortly.

The BSN Draft is on January 30, the selection order is as follows:

The Puerto Rican National Team won the Gold Medal in the 2016 Centrobasket Championship and then lost the last two warm-up games prior to the Olympic Qualifier that begins on July 4 in Belgrade, Serbia. Puerto Rico got the Gold in the Centrobasket Championship, finishing the tournament with five wins in a row. Indios de San Francisco (LNB) inked 29-year old American forward Landon Milbourne (201-87, college: Maryland). He played in the summer at Atenienses de Manati in Puerto Rican BSN league. In 36 games he averaged 14.0ppg, 4.5rpg and 1.4apg. A very good season in his career as he was selected to Latinbasket.com All-Puerto Rican BSN Honorable Mention. Science City Jena (ProA) strengthened their roster with addition of 24-year old American forward Chane Behanan (198-113kg-92, college: Louisville). He played in the summer at Aguada in Puerto Rican BSN league. In 47 games he recorded very impressive stats: 18.1ppg, 9.6rpg (#2 in the league), 2.0apg and 1.2spg.
