Joey Graham
Capitanes de Arecibo announced the signing of three additional imports for their local and international commitments this year.

They signed Lamayn Wilson (204-F-80, college: Troy) along with Stephen and Joey Graham (200-G/F-82, college: Oklahoma St.) who join Windi Graterol (204-C-86) as the team imports.

Arecibo has two tournaments to look up to, the FIBA-Americas League on February 23 and BSN that starts on March 31.

For both leagues they can use a total of three imports. It is up to management to see which players they use for those tournaments.

The Graham brothers have NBA experience and Joey played last season in BSN with Mets de Guaynabo where he averaged 18.8 points in 8 games.

Meanwhile Wilson has played in many European Leagues and was with BC Armia in Georgia until last week. On the other hand Graterol is expected to be the Latin-American import in BSN.

Capitanes fell short last year in both the FIBA-Americas League and BSN and have improved their roster to see if they win their first international title. In BSN they hope to return to the finals and win their third title in the last four seasons.

Guard Jezreel De Jesus led Arecibo with 25 points, 20 of them in the second half to lead a late charge. Today Arecibo faces Ferro from Argentina.   [read more]

William Orozco selected the top Puerto Rican playing abroad in last week's games - 22 hours ago
We bring you last week's top performances from Puerto Ricans who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level. This week's number one is an experienced former international forward William Orozco (201-85, agency: Paris Global Sports). He could not help Toros (13-15) in their last game. Despite Orozco's very good performance Toros lost 89-93 at home to the leading Mineros.    [read more]
