Joey Graham
Capitanes de Arecibo announced the signing of three additional imports for their local and international commitments this year.

They signed Lamayn Wilson (204-F-80, college: Troy) along with Stephen and Joey Graham (200-G/F-82, college: Oklahoma St.) who join Windi Graterol (204-C-86) as the team imports.

Arecibo has two tournaments to look up to, the FIBA-Americas League on February 23 and BSN that starts on March 31.

For both leagues they can use a total of three imports. It is up to management to see which players they use for those tournaments.

The Graham brothers have NBA experience and Joey played last season in BSN with Mets de Guaynabo where he averaged 18.8 points in 8 games.

Meanwhile Wilson has played in many European Leagues and was with BC Armia in Georgia until last week. On the other hand Graterol is expected to be the Latin-American import in BSN.

Capitanes fell short last year in both the FIBA-Americas League and BSN and have improved their roster to see if they win their first international title. In BSN they hope to return to the finals and win their third title in the last four seasons.

BSN Round 8: Santeros beat Capitanes in the most crucial game of the week - 10 hours ago
It's still too early stage of the Regular Season in BSN, but even now we can clearly see the differece between stronger teams and outsiders. An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Arecibo. First ranked Santeros faced 4th ranked Capitanes. Guests from Coamo (7-1) defeated host Capitanes (4-3) 82-67. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Capitanes. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. T...   [read more]

Cady Lalanne
Lalanne number one in Puerto Rico for week 7 - 1 day ago
American Center Cady Lalanne (208-C-92) put on an amazing game in the last week for Arecibo, receiving a Player of the Week award for week 7. The 24-year old player was the main contributor (22 points, nine rebounds) to his team's victory, helping them to beat Guayama (#10, 2-6) 99-92. Arecibo maintains the 4th position in Puerto Rican BSN. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Arecibo will need more victories...   [read more]
