Jesus
Verdejo
Capitanes de Arecibo signed Jesus Verdejo (193-G-85, college: S.Florida) after he was released from Guayama.

Probably the number of guards there forced Guayama to release Verdejo. He did a good job from the bench replacing an unnefective Erick Rodriguez.

Last season Verdejo posted 7.97 points from the bench. In 2011 he averaged 12.87 points with Isabela. His defensive skills are also great.

Capitanes have other guards on their roster but they have two tournaments soon, the FIBA Americas League and then BSN. Consistent guard play is going to be important for them this year.
