Atenas Cordoba (LigaA) signed 26-year old Puerto Rican guard Jezreel De Jesus (185-82kg-91, agency: Interperformances). He started the season at Al Wakrah in Qatari D1 league. In two games he had 14.5ppg, 4.5rpg, 3.0apg and 2.5spg this season. The last summer De Jesus played at Santeros (SuperLeague 25) in Puerto Rico where in 12 games he recorded 10.6ppg, 2.3rpg and 1.5apg. He helped them to make it to the semifinals.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others De Jesus was voted Latinbasket.com All-Puerto Rican BSN Most Improved Player of the Year back in 2014.
He also represented Puerto Rico at the Panamerican Games in Toronto (Canada) two years ago. His stats at that event were 4 games: 8.0ppg, 1.0rpg, 1.5apg, FGP: 42.1%, 3PT: 27.3%, FT: 70.0%.
De Jesus has played also professionally in Colombia (Barrancabermeja Ciudad Futuro), Mexico (Fuerza Regia) and Venezuela (Guaiqueries).
He could be described: Jezreel is a player with a high scoring capacity. He is a one man fastbreak. He has the potential to become a very high level player, handles many parts of the game with his unbelievable talent to score the ball. He is such a gifted player with an mazing professional future.
