Weber Bahia and Leones de Ponce won in day 3 of Group F semifinals to reach Liga de las Americas Final Four.

Bahia came from 20 points down to beat Hebraica Macabi 73-69. Lucio Redivo netted 26 points for Bahia. Leandro Garcia Morales had 26 for Hebraica.

Ponce defeated San Lorenzo 115-107 in double overtime. The fourth quarter ended tied at 80 after two free throws by Hakim Warrick (206-F/C-82, college: Syracuse) with 48.3 seconds left. The second overtime was forced by Nicolas Aguirre who made a basket with two seconds left to tie it at 92. A three-pointer by Angel Daniel Vassallo and a three-point play by Devon Collier gave Ponce a 106-98 lead with 1:14 left and never looked back.

Warrick led Ponce with 35 points while Carlos Arroyo had 32 points and 10 assists.

Nicolas Aguirre had 22 points, 15 assists and 10 rebounds for San Lorenzo.

Ponce is going to play Guaros and Bahia takes on Fuerza Regia on Day 1 of the Final Four to be played on March 17. The winners of the first day play for the championship and the losers for third place on March 18.

Over the last couple of hours three free agent signings were announced by BSN. Piratas de Quebradillas signed guard Ricardo Melendez (179-SG-83). He played last season for Fajardo and was an unrestricted free agent. Melendez played for Quebradillas during the 2013 and 2014 seasons. In 16 seasons he averages 9.4 points and has scored a total of 665 three-pointers. Cangrejeros de Santurce signed restricted free agent Renaldo Balkman (203-F-84, college: S.Carolina). Miro signs in Dominican Republic - 21 hours ago
Puerto Rican guard Steven Miro Bonefont(190-G-91, college: FIU) signed with Bueyes de Guaymate in the Dominican Republic. Bueyes plays in La Romana regional league. Miro started his pro career in 2014 with Brujos de Guayama. He has also played in Spain and the Dominican Republic. During his formative years he played for the Junior National Team and studied in FIU. Last season in BSN he played for Cariduros de Fajardo who reached the semifinals.
