Vaqueros de Bayamon (BSN) is close to ink 29-year old Puerto Rican international swingman Alex Franklin (198-103kg-88, college: Siena) who currently played at Toros de Nuevo Laredo in Mexico. It will actually be his comeback to Vaqueros as he has played here before. Franklin has a double citizenship as he also holds American passport. In 10 CIBACOPA games he recorded 10.8ppg, 3.3rpg, 1.8apg and 1.0spg this season. The last summer Franklin played at Vaqueros where in 35 BSN games he averaged 10.4ppg, 5.2rpg, 2.1apg and 1.2spg. He helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final.
Among other achievements Franklin received Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LEB Gold Honorable Mention award back in 2011.
He also represented Puerto Rico at the Central American and Caribbean Games in Veracruz (Mexico) three years ago. Franklin's team won Bronze and his stats at that event were 4 games: 4.3ppg, 2.5rpg, 1.5spg.
Franklin is a very experienced player. He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to ten different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). Franklin has played previously professionally in Dominican Rep., France, Germany (Deutsche Bank Skyliners), Israel (Maccabi Raanana), Poland (AZS Koszalin), Uruguay (Aguada), Spain (Magia_Huesca), Dominican Republic (Titanes Licey) and Puerto Rico (Indios).
He attended Siena College until 2010 and it is his seventh season in pro basketball.
Franklin's game is described as: A gifted and talented forward, he plays the game above the rim. He brings a lot of energy, is athletic and has a good attitude.

Defending champion Capitanes de Arecibo (BSN) strengthened their roster with addition of 25-year old American forward Coty Clarke (201-105kg-92, college: Arkansas, agency: BeoBasket). What a coincidence that all visitors won their games. The most impressive performance of 24th round was 17 points by Kevin Young of Mayaguez. Mayaguez - Humacao 83-85 A very interesting game took place in Mayaguez.
