BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS - SAINT VINCENT 71-63

British Virgin Islands managed to beat Saint Vincent 71-63 and to win the second place in Preliminary Group B in Nassau. They made almost perfect 3-1 record and reached Semifinals. There, British Virgin Islands will meet US Virgin Islands. On the other side, Saint Vincent ended as No.4 of this pool with 1-3 score. They will be transferred to Classification Round from 5th to 8th place. Rashid Cann (183-G-86) top-scored for the winners with 21 points. Kennedy Bass (196-F-81, college: Anderson) had 15 points and 7 boards, while Norville Carey added 12 pts. In defeat, Randolph Williams (188-G-76) delivered 23 points. Oral Roberts (201-F/C-74) and Dameon Ottley (89) netted 11 pts each. Quarters 22-13, 14-13, 22-13, 13-24. Semifinals are scheduled for today.
