Gardiner is a very experienced player. He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to four different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). Gardiner has played previously professionally in Ireland (Tigers), Mexico (Dorados, Ciudad, Cerveceros, Tuzos de la UAZ Zacatecas and Gigantes), Kosovo (Trepca) and Nicaragua (Leones).
He attended Sam Houston State until 2008 and it will be his ninth season in pro basketball.
