According to some rumours U.S. pro player D'or Fischer (211-C-81, college: W.Virginia) is about to receive Trinidad/Tobago passport, which will allow him to join Trinidad national team. 6-11 center could be for sure the best player in the national team. Spanish Regal Barcelona is also interested in the player. Getting Trinidad/Tobago passport gives him a status of Cotonou player and in consequence it does not block a limit of import players signed by a team. If he signs in Spain, it would be his third season in a row in ACB. He has 7-years after-college career playing pro basketball in top European leagues. The last 4 years he played in Euroleague representing such well-known teams like Maccabi Tel Aviv (Israel) and Real Madrid (Spain). He used to play also in Belgium, Germany and Poland. Fischer is probably one of best U.S. players, who did not make it to the NBA. Although he played for Roanoke Dazzle in NBA D-League, and few times in NBA sumemr leagues. However he decided to be top player in Euroleague teams instead of trying on the bench with NBA teams. The last season Fischer spent at Gescrap Bizkaia Bilbao, where he was best blocker (1.9bpg) in Spanish league averaging also 8.5ppg and 5.5rpg. He played also 19 Euroleague games with stats: 7.9ppg, 5.9rpg, 1.6apg, 1.1bpg.
