The competition bounced off with the National Security Minister Jack Warner meeting the players and jumping the ball to start the contest in front of an appreciative home crowd at Maloney Gardens.

With over $1m up for grabs in prize money, Maloney began the battle in a dominant mood controlling the game, 19-11, 43-24 and 70-41 by the end of the third period.
