Trinidad and Tobago point guard Ian Young made an impressed debut in Mexico on November 1. He guided twelfth ranked Lechugueros to an 87-78 away win over the higher ranked Barreteros in the LNBP league.

The 6-4 Young led the winners with 25 points and 4 assists. He was ably supported by Bahamas power forward Ryan Moss with 15 points and 9 rebounds.

With the win Lechugueros maintains its twelfth place with a 6-13 record. Their next round opponent will be higher ranked Panteras (#5) in Aguascalientes and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.

Meanwhile over in South Korea, 6-10 centre Kibwe Trim had 7pts & 6rebs in 16mins in a losing effort on November 2. Anyang KCG went under, 63-74, to the defending champs Mobis Phoebus in a Round 7 match up of the South Korean KBL.

With the loss Anyang shares the third place with Mobis. Their next game will be against the league leader SK Knights in Seoul.

And across in Japan, 6-9 power forward Julius Ashby chipped with 6pts and 8rebs as Fukuoka Rizing scored a comfortable 80-67 away win over Takamatsu FA in Round 9 of the JB League on Sunday.

The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Fukuoka Rizing. With the win they moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Shinshu BW and Niigata Albirex.

Fukuoka Rizing will face Shiga L-Stars (#6) on the road in the next round.
