Former national point guard Dereck Boxhill scored a game high 45pts and forward Adrian Joseph chipped in with 41 pts &12 rebs as La Romaine Jetstars trounced San Fernando CSM 148-56 on Thursday evening in South Sector Two Region of he Hoop of Life Community Basketball League.

With the win, La Romaine improved to 2-0 with the highest score in the league thus far.

In addition to both players outstanding performance, Jetstars had three other players in double figures, Kyle Sargeant got 17 pts, Lester Edwards 16 pts and Delroy Agard 10 pts

For CSM, Clint Phillips had 20 pts and Kevin Sedeno chiiped in with 12 pts in the losing effort.

In the North Sector, Caledoina scored a comfortable 79-58 home win over their rivals, Morvant ,79-58 on Thursday.

Forward Kyron Joseph had a game 23pts for the winners, while center Wilt Vincent added 15 pts. For Morvant, Christopher Lares and Dextroy Manswell scored 17 pts apiece.

In Central, Longdenville registered a slender 45-44 win over Edinburgh 500 in a low-scoring contest. Adrian Baptiste led Longdenville with 19 pts and Lawrence Paul finished with 16 pts for Edinburgh.

With the win Longdenville remains in first spot with a 3-0 record, while Edinburgh dropped to 2-1.

In the North Western Sector, Diego Martin scored an easy 74-58 victory over St James on Wednesday evening.

Forward Richard Guiseppi led Diego with 15 pts, while point guard Sadiki Guerra and Cazmbe Gilbert chipped in13 pts apiece. For St James, Edison Alexander had 18 pts, Garthn Griffith 15 pts and Kerwin Chidick 11 pts.

Down South, Siparia scored a 77 -53 victory over Fyzabad. Deon Joseph led the winners with 18 pts and Joel Cedeno had a game high 20 pts in a losing effort

Carrington guides Seaton Hall to Big East Final - 3 months ago

Khadeen Carrington had a great first-half performance for Seton Hall against 5th ranked Xavier on Friday. He tallied 14pts, 5rebs and 3assists in the first 16 minutes against Xavier as the Pirates beat the Musketeers 87-83 in the semi-finals. Following his fantastic performance the previous day, Carrington again led the way scoring 23pts and 7rebs.
