Rowley leaves Araberri - Feb 24, 2017

Kyle Rowley
27-year old Trinidad and Tobago center Kyle Rowley (213-107kg-90, college: St.Mary's, CA) left LEB Gold newcomer Saenz Horeca Araberri. In 14 LEB Gold games in Spain he averaged 8.6ppg and 7.5rpg this season. Rowley also spent pre-season at Baskonia Vitoria Gasteiz (Liga Endesa) earlier that year.
He played in the final of WCC Tournament in 2013.
Rowley was also a member of Trinidad and Tobago international program for some years. He played for Trinidad and Tobago Senior National Team back in 2009 and previously for U17 National Team in 2007.
Rowley also represented Trinidad and Tobago at the CBC Championships in Tortilla (BVI) eight years ago. His team got to the Semifinals and his stats at that event were : 3 games: 3.0ppg, 2.3rpg.
Rowley has played previously for three other teams: Ourense, Leyma Basquet and Zornotza.
He attended Saint Mary's College of California until 2013 and it is his fourth season in pro basketball.

Center Johnny Hamilton registered a team high 23pts, 14rebs and 3 blocks for the University of Texas Arlington (UTA) in the Sun Belt Championship game on Sunday at Lakefront Arena, New Orleans. But, his UTA Mavericks still went under 74-61 against Georgia State who secured an automatic place, with the win, in the NCAA 2018 Tournament. Center Johnny Hamilton registered his personal best while playing for the University of Texas, Arlington, on Saturday evening at College Park Center. First during the Senior Day ceremonies, the 7' Hamilton proposed to his girlfriend, Rachael Ross who accepted. Afterwards, Hamilton blocked 3 shots against Georgia State to surpass the program record for most blocks in a single season with 72.
