Quinteros (185-G-79, agent: Burgan Nino) was the most voted player by
the Uruguayan journalists when they were asked to choose an All Star team of
the First Division Championship. Quinteros, playing for Trouville, received
55 votes among 60 journalists, or 91,7%. The second place was for Joaquin
Izuibejeres (1.84-G-82), also from Trouville, with 26 votes. Other players
voted for the All Star team were: with 25 votes

and therefore the player has the right to get the Uruguayan citizenship.
Quinteros, in the last weeks, clearly stated that he would like to play for
Argentina, but there were no immediate reaction after the meeting with
Lopez. The Argentine will play with Trouville the Game 4 of the Uruguayan
semifinals tonight and his team is 1-2 with Welcome. During the semifinals
games Quinteros scored 37 ppg including 4.6 three-point per game, two
assists and he received 13.3 fouls per game. He has the record of points
scored during a semifinal game with 49 in Game 3. His numbers for the
regular season were 26,1 ppg, 4,5 assists pg and 4,2 recoveries pg.
