Coyle 75, Oklahoma Christian School JV 53

CASHION Coyle coach Josh Sumrall won his 200th game in a 75-53 victory over the Saints junior varsity in the first round of the Cashion Tournament.

I told my guys it meant a lot to me, Sumrall said. They were with me during that time.

Sumrall is in his 11th season at Coyle and has guided the Bluejackets to four state tournaments. The coach said he feels very fortunate.

I have a had a lot of good players and teams, Sumrall said. Coyle schools has a good program and tradition. I wanted to continue it. My assistant coach Marcus Cooper has been with me in all those victories. So some of the credit goes to him.

The Bluejackets (17-3) raced to a 24-3 first quarter lead and led 45-18 at halftime. Tony Aska led all scorers with 30 points. The Bluejackets play the winner of Crescent and Cashion.

The Indiana Pacers announced on Thursday morning that they have assigned Rakeem Christmas(206-F-91, college: Syracuse) to their D-League affiliate, the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. It is back to the NBA Development League for Indiana Pacers forward Rakeem Christmas. Christmas spent most of his time in Fort Wayne last year.
