Khalid Hart
Red-shirt senior guard Khallid Hart (188-G-95) of the Marist men's basketball team was named Second Team All-Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference on Monday.

Hart, who also was named Second Team All-MAAC last season, becomes one of five Red Foxes to earn All-MAAC honors multiple times in his career. The list also includes Sean Kennedy, Jared Jordan, Will Whittington, and Chavaughn Lewis.

This season, Hart ranks among the conference's leaders in six categories: scoring (18.0 ppg, third); minutes played (35.5 mpg, third); free-throw percentage (.792, ninth); three-pointers per game (2.1, tied for ninth); three-point percentage (.388, 13th); and steals (1.1 spg, tied for 14th).

Hart enters the MAAC Championship with 1,863 career points, the fourth-highest total in program history. He has played in 109 games and started 108, which includes starts in his last 62 appearances. Hart led the Red Foxes in scoring 20 times this season.

Second Team: Khallid Hart, Marist; Kassius Robertson, Canisius; Trevis Wyche, Saint Peter's; Brett Bisping, Siena; Marquis Wright, Siena

Third Team: Jermaine Crumpton, Canisius; Zane Waterman, Manhattan; Matt Scott, Niagara; Jimmie Taylor, Rider; Kahlil Thomas, Rider

All-Rookie Team: Malik Johnson, Canisius; E.J. Crawford, Iona; Mikey Dixon, Quinnipiac; Peter Kiss, Quinnipiac; Stevie Jordan, Rider

Marist is the #10 seed in this week's MAAC Basketball Championship. The Red Foxes will face #7 Canisius in the opening round on Thursday, March 2 at the Times Union Center in Albany. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
