Virgin Islanders will be participating in the NCAA Division I Tournament. The basketball Gods decided that all four participants on the men's side play in the Southern bracket. Coach Jerome Tang and Baylor are seeded third in the East.

After a 21-win season and another outstanding performance both in the BIG EAST regular season and tournament, Desi Rodriguez (198-F-96) and the Seton Hall Pirates have earned a spot in the field of 68. They will be the No. 9 seed in the South Region and take on No. 8 seed Arkansas Friday in Greenville, S.C.

John Collins and Wake Forest received an at large bid to the 2017 NCAA Tournament as the field of 68 was announced Sunday evening. The Demon Deacons are a No. 11 seed in the South Region will play Kansas State in Dayton, Ohio in the First Four on Tuesday. Tipoff is approximately 9:10 p.m. and the game will air on TruTV.
The Wake Forest-Kansas State winner will meet Cincinnati in the first round in Sacramento, Calif. on Friday, March 17.

Jordan Murphy (198-F-97) and Minnesota earned the No. 5 seed in the South region and will face 12-seed Middle Tennessee State on Thursday. Tip-off against the Blue Raiders will be at approximately $:00 p.m. ET and the game will be broadcast on TNT.
The Gophers (24-9) earned the highest seed in program history after the largest single-season turnaround in school history and the best in the country this season.

Deon Edwin (190-G-92) and the Kent State University men's basketball team has been selected as a 14th seed in the 2017 NCAA Tournament, facing the third seed UCLA at the 1 Center in Sacramento, California Friday, March 17.

Javier Martinez (201-F-93) and the University of Tennessee at Martin men's basketball team has advanced to the postseason for the third consecutive season to play host to UNC Asheville in the opening round of the 2017 CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament. The game will take place on Thursday, March 16 at 7 p.m. in the Kathleen and Tom Elam Center.
Martinez posted 12.7 points, 8.6 rebounds per game and 67.1 field goal percentage.
