Frontcourt size is something Bobby Hurley and the Sun Devils could use more of in the year ahead and they've set their sights on a top candidate.

One day after Arizona State returned home from the Pac-12 Tournament, it rolled out the red carpet for a 2017 official visitor.
The Sun Devils hosted Iowa Western Community College 6-foot-10 center De'Quon Lake over the weekend. They'd love it if Lake decided to make Tempe his home for the next two years.
"The coaches are saying they need size and you can see that from this season," Lake said. "That's where they need guys the most and they're telling me I'm their top target. They were saying they really want me because I have good footwork, I'm a scorer around the basket, a rebounder, physical."
The official visit was Lake's first, and also the biggest metro area he's been to. A native of Saint Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Lake moved with his mother and two older brothers to Virginia when he was in eighth grade.
"It was really good, I had a great time at ASU," he said. "It's one of my top choices. We went out to eat, had some good food, visited more with the coaching. Just building up a good relationship with them.
"It's big. I've never seen a city that big before. I'm from a small island and where I lived in Virginia isn't that big. I liked it."
ASU has been recruiting Lake since last summer and was among his first scholarship offers. He averaged 13.5 point and 7.2 rebounds as a sophomore for 25-7 Iowa Western, which is located in Council Bluffs, a suburb of Omaha, Nebraska.
The Sun Devils are doing well in the recruitment and now will try to close Lake down before the start of the spring signing period next month.
"Well I am only looking at three schools right now," Lake said. "I just finished [cutting the list]. It's Arizona State, Kansas State and Rutgers. I'm trying to set up visits to [Kansas State and Rutgers] after my spring break."
A former baseball player who grew from 6-feet in eighth grade to 6-foot-6 in 10th grade when he already towered over his brothers and father, Lake continued on to his current height. He's a fan of Joel Embiid and Anthony Davis in the NBA, and believes his best basketball is ahead of him.
"This past year I worked on my game with my coach and stayed with him for the summer," Lake said. "That put me in a good place with the (Jerry Mullen) Top-100 camp and I played well there and things got really going after that.
"It's a big difference coming from the Virgin Islands and even Virginia and now getting these offers in junior college. It's boosted my confidence a lot. It's really helped me and I have come a long way and worked hard for what I do."
Lake said he'll select a college based on academic strength and support and how much he believes the school's coaches will work to development and push him to maximize his talent.
