Virgin Islanders will be playing this evening (Wednesday) in the second round of the Junior College tournament. First up at 7pm Rashawn Fredericks (198-G-97) and Motlow State will take on the higher seeded (#3) Georgia Highlands followed by Shaquille Seville and Eastern Florida grapples with lower seeded Monroe College at 9pm. Fredericks and Motlow won their opener versus Coffeyville,78-59. The 6-foot-6 forward scored eight with six rebounds. The teams have a potential of meeting in the quarterfinals with wins.

ROUND 2
Central girls and boys basketball teams are up 1-0 in the best of three St. Croix IAA championship series over Educational Complex. Game two is tonight at Educational Complex and starts promptly at 4pm. Game three if necessary will be on Friday at Central High.

St. Thomas

Eudora Kean girls have won the St. Thomas IAA crown but the Charlotte Amalie boys are one win away from repeating. The Hawks will take on Montessori School on Monday afternoon.
