John Collins
Wake Forest sophomore John Collins (208-F-97) has decided to hire an agent and stay in this June's NBA draft, which means the 6-foot-10 forward will forego his final two years of eligibility at Wake Forest.

Collins initially submitted his name for draft consideration, but not hire an agent, which meant he could have decided to return to Winston-Salem until 10 days following this May's NBA scouting combine.

"After long conversation with my family, I have decided to enter the NBA draft and also hire an agent," Collins wrote in a message posted to his Twitter account late Wednesday night.

"I would like to (thank) everyone at Wake Forest that was instrumental in my progression to the young man I am today! I will always bleed black and old gold, and do my best to represent the university in the most positive way possible."

Collins averaged 19.2 points and 9.8 rebounds per game this season, earning First-Team All-ACC honors and the conference's Most Improved Player award. He also finished second in ACC Player of the Year voting, behind eventual winner Justin Jackson of North Carolina.
