Uruguay U16 comes back from Torneo de Iscar where they participated with 5 other teams. Spain U16 won home tournament Torneo de Iscar.
In Day 1 Spain overcame Uruguay 84:63. The hosts dominated the court and rightfully started with the win.
Later Turkey beat Uruguay 61:52. The team led 19-15 after the first period and then enjoyed a 30:25 halftime advantage. The team from Latina America reduced to 49:45, but Turkey pushed the tempo for good to seal a 61:52 win. Rıdvan Oncel stepped up with 18 points, while Furkan Korkmaz notched 13.
In the game for 5-6 places Uruguay beat Castilla y Leon 101:36. Facundo Grolla stepped up with 27 points for the winners and Octavio Medina as well as Martin Counago had 14 each.
