Nacional adds Maxey to their roster, ex Bucaros - Dec 31, 2012

Nacional De Futbol Montevideo (LUB) added to their roster 34-year old American forward Erron Maxey (198-100kg-78, college: Providence). He played last summer at Bucaros in Colombian Copa Federacion. Maxey also played at Niigata Albirex in Japanese BJ League that season. In 55 games last season he recorded 12.4ppg and 6.6rpg.
He was voted USBasket.com All-SEBL Metro A-League South Division 1st Team in 2012.
The previous (2011) summer he played at Wellington Exodus Saints in New Zealand NBL. In 17 games he averaged 13.9ppg and 4.8rpg. He helped them to win the league title. The other team Maxey played that season for was Union Atletica. In 14 LUB games that year he was second best scorer with impressive 25.0ppg and had 9.2rpg, 2.5apg and 1.2spg.
Maxey is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Argentina (Atenas, Obras and Quimsa), Australia (Gold Coast Blaze), Chile (Universidad de Concepcion), Finland, Hungary, Mexico (Santos) and Puerto Rico.
Maxey attended Providence College until 2001 and it will be his twelfth (!!!) season as a professional player.
