He had the game-high 32 points adding five rebounds and four assists for Malvin in his team's victory, helping them to edge out U Universitario (#1, 9-3) 91-89. Malvin maintains the 5th position in their group in Uruguayan league. Malvin is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. But it was their 6th lost game this season out of 12 games. In the team's last game Mazzarino had a remarkable five three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He has many years of experience at Malvin, through which he has constantly improved. Mazzarino has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in assists (5th best: 5.2apg) and averages solid 54.0% from behind 3-point line.
Second best performed player last round was Gonzalo Meira (192-F-88, agency: Pro Sports) of Promocional 2 second-ranked Welcome. He is a forward in his first season at Welcome. In the last game Meira recorded impressive double-double of 36 points and 12 rebounds. Of course Welcome cruised to a 89-80 relatively comfortable win over slightly lower-ranked Olimpia (#3, 7-5). Welcome's second position in Promocional 2 has not changed. His team's 9-3 record is not bad at all. Meira is a newcomer at Welcome and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.
Third place about best performers goes to forward Rodney Alexander (201-F-87) of Olimpia (#3). Alexander got into 30-points club by scoring 31 points in the last round. He went also for thirteen rebounds . Despite Alexander's great performance Olimpia lost 80-89 to #2 ranked Welcome. But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Olimpia needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams in Promocional 2. Their record is 7 victories and 5 lost games. Alexander has a great season in Uruguay. After 18 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.2ppg (2nd best) and rebounds with 13.0rpg (2nd best).

We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
