Arnett
Moultrie
Defensor Sporting Club Montevideo (LUB) landed 27-year old American power forward Arnett Moultrie (208-113kg-90, college: Mississippi State, agency: Interperformances). He played recently at Mamak Belediye Ankara D.S.I. in Turkish TBL league, but was released by the team last month. In 17 games he averaged impressive 20.1ppg, 9.8rpg, 1.6apg and 1.4spg this season. The last summer Moultrie played at Manati in Puerto Rican BSN where in 7 games he had 10.0ppg, 5.4rpg and 1.1apg.
In 2012 he was drafted by Miami Heat (NBA) in first round (27th overall). Moultrie attended Mississippi State and it is his fifth season in pro basketball.
Among other achievements his team won C-USA Regular Season in 2010. Moultrie received also NABC Division I All-District 21 1st Team award back in 2012 at his college time.
Moultrie represented USA at the World Championships U19 in New Zealand eight years ago. His team won Gold and his stats at that event were 9 games: 4.4ppg, 6.1rpg.
Moultrie is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in four different countries playing on three different continents. He is familiar with Asian, Latin American and of course North American leagues. Moultrie has played previously professionally in China (Jiangsu Dragons), Lebanon (Al Riyadi), NBA (New York Knicks and Phi.76ers) and D-League (Delaware 87ers).
Let's have closer look into His outlook: High-level athlete combo forward with excellent size and length. Versatile offensive skill set to score inside/outside. Extraordinarily nimble and quick mover in the paint.
