Barquisimeto, Venezuela.- Venezuelan SG Jhornan Zamora (196-G-89), of Palencia Baloncesto and Venezuelan PF-C Javier Roman (207-F/C-80), of Leyma Coruna, came off the bench to support their teams in victories over Caceres Patrimonio de La Humanidad, 87-84, and FC Barcelona Regal, 93-56, respectively, in the action of Spain's second division basketball, the 2012-2013 edition of LEB Gold.

Zamora played 17 minutes and finished up with 7 points, 7 rebounds, a foul and 4 turnovers. Michael Tveidt (200-F-87) was Palencia's top scorer with 15 points, Enricue Garrido (178-PG-82) added 11 and Geoff McDermott (203-F-87), Alfredo Ott (193-G-83) and Carles Bravo (193-F/G-79) scored 10 points each. For Caceres, Olu Ashaolu (200-F-88) netted 16 and was followed by Antonio Pena (203-F-86) with 12, Joshua Duinkerk with 11 and Miguel Lorenzo (207-C/F-91) with 10.

Zamora is averaging 12.0 points, 3.6 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game after 5 regular season games with a 44.4% from the three-long range.

Meanwhile, Javier Roman scored 3 points, grabbed a rebound and totaled 3 fouls in 7 minutes of action for Coruna. Asier Zengotitabengoa (200-F-88) netted 15 points, Jonathan Kale (203-F-85) added 14, Matthew Rogers (211-C-87) and Pablo Almazan (203-C/F-89) followed them with 12 each and Marcos Suka-Umu (193-G-85) finished up with 11. For Barcelona, Ivan Garcia (207-F/C-86) and Josep Perez (184-PG-94) netted 12 points each.

Roman is averaging 4.0 points, 1.4 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game in 5 regular season games so far, all of them coming off the bench.

Toros de Aragua (LPB) tabbed 25-year old Peruvian international point guard Kyle Fuller (185-91kg-92, college: Vanderbilt). He has a double citizenship as he also holds American passport. Fuller played in the summer at Regatas in Peruvian LNB league. In three Liga Sudamericana games he averaged impressive 17.0ppg, 3.3rpg, 3.0apg and 1.0spg. Fuller won Peruvian LNB championship title. Gaiteros de Zulia (LPB) agreed terms with Venezuelan center Stefano Magnoni (201-100kg). Magnoni just graduated from Webber International University (NAIA). He has played there for the last three years. As mentioned above he is just out of the college and it is his first season as a pro. Trotamundos de Carabobo (LPB) strengthened their roster with addition of 29-year old Palestinian ex-international center Sani Sakakini (204-100kg-88). He started the season at TianJin Steel in Chinese CBA league. In 35 games he recorded very impressive stats: 24.0ppg, 13.3rpg, 2.0apg and 1.0spg this season.
