Barquisimeto, Venezuela.- Venezuela's Liga Nacional de Baloncesto (LNB) resumed its Quarter Finals as Centauros de Apure and Rojos de Sucre were able to force a decisive Game 5 in their respective series. Centauros defeated Estudiantes de Guarico as visitors, Rojos de Sucre did the same against Bravos de Portuguesa as hosts. Tiburones de Vargas took a 2-0 lead at home against Lanceros de Cojedes and the series will now move to San Carlos for the weekend action.

Guaros de Lara (LPB) agreed terms with 27-year old American point guard Chris Wright (185-100kg-89, college: Georgetown, agency: Elevate Agency). He played last season at Openjobmetis Varese in Italian Serie A. Wright managed to play in three leagues last year. In 11 Serie A games he had 11.4ppg, 4.5rpg, 4.8apg and 1.4spg. The Regular Season in LNB just ended. The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Broncos (21-3) in Barquisimeto on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by Guaros 2 (21-3) 85-70.
