Barquisimeto, Venezuela.- Venezuela's Liga Nacional de Baloncesto (LNB) resumed its Quarter Finals as Centauros de Apure and Rojos de Sucre were able to force a decisive Game 5 in their respective series. Centauros defeated Estudiantes de Guarico as visitors, Rojos de Sucre did the same against Bravos de Portuguesa as hosts. Tiburones de Vargas took a 2-0 lead at home against Lanceros de Cojedes and the series will now move to San Carlos for the weekend action.

Newly promoted Tofas Bursa (BSL) added to their roster 26-year old American swingman Jordan Hamilton (201-103kg-90, college: Texas). He played last season at Bucaneros in Venezuelan LPB league.
