Bravos closed on the LNB title. They celebrated the second straight win over Guacharos in the championship series. Francisco Centeno (201-G/F-85) delivered 15 points and 9 rebounds to pace Bravos to a 75:68 victory. The next two games of the series will be hosted by Guacharos and Bravos need just one win to claim the title.
The teams stayed close throughout the starting quarter. The scoreboard read 17:17 at the first break. Guacharos pulled ahead in the second term. The visitors accumulated a narrow 38:35 halftime advantage. But Bravos took over in the third term. Tomas Aguilera (198-F-77) and Francisco Centeno helped the hosts to pull ahead. Bravos went on a 20:12 run to ensure a 55:50 lead with one quarter remaining. Bravos dropped 20 points in the final stanza and clinched a tough victory at the end. Elvis Baez (189-PG-89) delivered 13 points, while Kenji Urdaneta and Tomas Aguilera contributed 12 points apiece for the home team. Michael Flores (192-G-85) answered with 11 points for Guacharos. Manuel Berroteran (185-G-80) had 9 points in defeat.

Estudiantes - Guaros 108:90 Estudiantes clashed with Venezuelan Guaros in the exhibition game in Madrid. The hosts managed to secure a comfortable win at the end. Malvin Montevideo (LUB) added to their roster 27-year old American center Darrius Garrett (206-96kg-90, college: Richmond). He played last season at Marinos in Venezuelan LPB league. In 13 games he had 8.2ppg, 6.8rpg and 1.4bpg. Garrett also played that season for Hoops Club in Lebanese Pepsi LBL where in 11 games he recorded 14.3ppg, 11.9rpg and 2.5bpg. Gran Canaria - Guaros 87:73 Gran Canaria defeated Guaros de Lara at the Circuito Movistar. Marcus Eriksson (201-G/F-93) scored 16 points to lead the Spanish side.
