Bravos closed on the LNB title. They celebrated the second straight win over Guacharos in the championship series. Francisco Centeno (201-G/F-85) delivered 15 points and 9 rebounds to pace Bravos to a 75:68 victory. The next two games of the series will be hosted by Guacharos and Bravos need just one win to claim the title.
The teams stayed close throughout the starting quarter. The scoreboard read 17:17 at the first break. Guacharos pulled ahead in the second term. The visitors accumulated a narrow 38:35 halftime advantage. But Bravos took over in the third term. Tomas Aguilera (198-F-77) and Francisco Centeno helped the hosts to pull ahead. Bravos went on a 20:12 run to ensure a 55:50 lead with one quarter remaining. Bravos dropped 20 points in the final stanza and clinched a tough victory at the end. Elvis Baez (189-PG-89) delivered 13 points, while Kenji Urdaneta and Tomas Aguilera contributed 12 points apiece for the home team. Michael Flores (192-G-85) answered with 11 points for Guacharos. Manuel Berroteran (185-G-80) had 9 points in defeat.
  



LNB Round 3: Derby game ends with Broncos' defeat of Atleticos - 4 days ago

This is still too early stage of the Regular Season in LNB and we should expect many changes in upcoming rounds. The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Caracas: Broncos (#1) and Atleticos (#7). Broncos (3-0) crushed visiting Atleticos (0-3) by 21 points 87-66. Broncos' supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Caracas Atleticos. Carl Elliott (ex Cocodrilos) is a newcomer at Indios de San Francisco - 5 days ago

Indios de San Francisco (LNB) added to their roster 33-year old American guard Carl Elliott (193-83, college: G.Washington). He played last season at Cocodrilos in Venezuelan LPB league. In 53 games he was fifth best scorer with impressive 19.5ppg and had 5.6rpg, 5.2apg (top 2) and 2.0spg (leader !!!). He helped them to win the league title despite they ended the regular season at the second place.
