NCAA (Division I)
Gregory Echenique (206-C-90) - Creighton Blue Jays In his Senior year and with great prospects, Echenique is making Creighton proud and helping them stay in the Top 25 nation's ranking, by averaging 10.4 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.2 blocks and 0.5 assists per game in 8 games, all of them as a starter, while his team has a 7-1 overall record.
Michael Carrera (196-F-93) - South Carolina Gamecocks He's having a solid start in his NCAA career, thus confirming his status of future NBA candidate. He's averaging 10.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1.0 blocks and 0.6 assists per game in 5 games, 4 as a starter. He had to overcome a minor injury that caused a setback in his minutes in the rotation but has managed to produce big stats to start earning himself a good name in his conference.
Anthony Perez (206-F-93) - Ole Mississippi Rebels Another newcomer in the NCAA Division I, Anthony is slowly progressing as he gets more minutes to gain confidence. He's averaging 4.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 0.5 blocks per game in 6 games, all in which he came off the bench.
Juan Coronado (203-F-90) - Liberty Flames In his first season in the NCAA, Juan "J.R." Coronado is averaging 4.6 points and 7.6 rebounds per game in 8 games, 5 as a starter. He's shown tremendous strenght at the defensive end of the court, but is yet to become a factor offensively to fully contribute for his team. Denny Burguillos - Georgia State Panthers After 8 games in his first season at this level, he's been a starter 4 times and is averaging 2.4 points, 3.0 rebounds and 0.6 blocks per game. In his last game, he faced fellow Venezuelan Juan Coronado of Liberty, though he went scoreless in 16 minutes and went into foul trouble early.
NCAA (Division II)
Juan Urbina (203-F-90) - Lees McRae Bobcats So far, he's been used in 5 games in the season coming off the bench to play in the paint, averaging 1.6 points, 1.2 rebounds and 0.2 assists per game. He's playing his last season for the Bobcats.

NAIA (Division I)
Hector Aguilar (183-PG-89) - Southwest New Mexico Mustangs Currently averaging 8.4 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.2 steals in 4 games. Appearing more like a solid SG due to his three-point shot percentaje, he averaged 7.2 points, 2.2 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.0 steals per game in 26 games in the 2011-2012 seasons. Aguilar is a former player of Lara State's U18 team, though he was born in Caracas, but he was raised in Barquisimeto, Lara. His best so far was on November 21st, when he scored 16 points, grabbed 3 rebounds and had 3 assists in a win over Sul Ross State.
Carlos Arango (183-G) - Southern University of New Orleans (SUNO) Currently averaging 2.0 points, 1.2 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game in 4 games. Arango is playing his third season in a reserve role for SUNO. in the 2010-2011 season, in 19 games, he averaged 4.2 points, 1.1 rebounds and 0.8 assists. A year later, he put up an average statline of 2.3 points, 1.2 rebounds and 0.5 assists per game in 24 games.

NJCAA (Division I)
Danny Herrera (193-F-92) - Miami Dade A former NCAA DIvision 1 Player for the Duquesne Dukes, Danny Herrera is now back in the NJCAA for Miami Dade and has had a great start, averaging 13.0 points, 3.7 rebounds and 0.3 assists per game in 3 games.
Jose Hernandez (191-G-92) - South Georgia Tech An experienced player, though still very young, Jose Hernandez is playing a reserve role for the Technical College, averaging 2.9 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game after 9 games in the season.
Jose Matias Aranguren (93) - Chipola College Playing for a college that is currently among the Top10 in the United States, Jose Matias Aranguren Jimenez is coming off the bench to average 1.4 points, 0.6 rebounds and 0.2 assists per game in y 5 games so far.
Drexler Mejias (197-F-93) - Weatherford College So far, Drexler Mejias has played 4 games and is currently averaging 3.0 points, 1.0 rebounds and 0.2 assists. The former Miranda State star is now playing the role of a newcomer in the system, coming off the bench.
NJCAA (Division III)
Anton Morris (186-G) - Union County Though he appears in the roster for the 2012-2013 season, he has yet to play his first game.

Marinos and Cocodrilos claimed back-to-back victories at the start of LPB Final Four stage. They overcame Gigantes and Bucaneros respectively.
Marinos cruised to a massive 108:63 win in the first game against Gigantes. Gregory Vargas (180-PG-86) scored 23 points, grabbed 6 boards and issued 6 assists to pace the winners. It all came down to the final seconds in this one. Axiers Sucre hit a decisive free throw late in regulation to seal a 78:77 victory for Marinos. Leon Rodgers (201-F-80, college: N.Illinois) finished with 19 points, while Robert Battle (204-C-81, college: Drexel) contributed 15 points in the win. Andrew Feeley (206-F/C-83, agency: Promotex, college: UMBC) responded with 16 points for Gigantes. Cocodrilos claimed two close wins over Bucaneros. The first game ended with a 79:76 score in favour of Cocodrilos. Ryan Forehan-Kelly (196-F-80, college: California) chipped in 21 points to lead the winners. Carl Elliott (193-G-83, agency: SportsTalent, college: G.Washington) provided 19 points for the hosts. Carlos Cedeno responded with 24 points for Bucaneros. Next game was once again a tight battle. Bucaneros enjoyed a narrow lead late in regulation but Luis Bethelmy sank a jumper with three seconds left to seal an 88:87 victory for Cocodrilos. He finished with 21 points to pace the charge. Jesus Centeno (190-G-85) added 17 points in the win. Tariq Kirksay (199-F-79, college: Iona) responded with 22 points and 9 rebounds for Bucaneros. Robert Hornsby (201-F-82, college: Troy) had 21 points in the loss.

In 32 games he had 7.7ppg, 4.8rpg, 1.9apg and 1.9spg that season. He also played 16 games in Eurocup where he had 10.3ppg, 5.9rpg, 1.8apg and 2.3spg (leader !!!). In 2000 Kirksay was drafted by Long Island Surf (USBL) in first round (7th overall). He attended Iona College and it will be his 13th (hopefully lucky) season in pro basketball. Among other achievements Kirksay's team won Russian Cup in 2009. He received also Eurobasket.com All-EuroCup 1st Team award in 2011. Kirksay represented France at the Qualifications to European Championships 2009 five years ago. His stats at that event were 6 games: 4.3ppg, 3.7rpg, 1.3apg, 1.8spg. Kirksay is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Argentina (San Martin de La Rioja), Mexico, France (Sluc Nancy, Besancon, Rueil and JL Bourg) and Russia (Unics Kazan). He has played previously professionally in France (JDA Dijon) and Italy (Trenkwalder RE, Pavia, Naturhouse Ferrara and Casalpusterlengo). Marigney attended Saint Mary's College of California until 2005 and it is his eighth season as a professional player. The scouts decsribe him following way:
A very athletic player, with inside and outside dimensions, even if his long distance shooting sometimes disappears. Needs to improve his defensive skills, has yet upside.
