Guacharos stayed alive in the LNB Finals. They survived the test of the third game of the finals and avoided the sweep. Guacharos claimed a confident home win to force the fourth game in the best-of-five series. Maurice Carter (183-G-83, college: Robert Morris) delivered 23 points to pace the hosts.
Guacharos strongly entered the game. They led by 6 points after ten minutes 20:14. Guacharos stretched the gap in the second quarter. They arrived at halftime up by 14 points 39:25. Bravos cut the deficit in the third term but could not seriously threaten the margin. Guacharos stayed alert and kept Bravos at bay throughout the fourth quarter. Kervis Ramirez (190-PG-78) delivered 13 points in the victory. Francisco Centeno (201-G/F-85) answered with game-high 24 point for Bravos. Elder Gimenez (186-G-91) had 11 points in the loss.
The fourth game of the Finals is scheduled for tonight.

There will be only one (last) round of the Regular Season in LPB. There were many interesting games last round. The round ended with defeat of the leader. Top ranked Cocodrilos (23-11) recorded its eleventh loss in Caracas on Tuesday night. Hosts were defeated by third ranked Marinos (17-17) 79-75. Marinos outrebounded Cocodrilos 41-30 including 26 on the defensive glass. Swann number one in Venezuela for round 19 - 5 days ago
American Point guard Isaiah Swann (188-PG-85) had a great game in the last round for Marinos, receiving a Latinbasket.com Player of the Week award for round 19. The 31-year old player was the main contributor (47 points and five assists) to his team's victory, helping them to outclass Gaiteros (#5, 7-23) with 61-point margin 120-59. Here is the weekly review of the top performing Venezuelan players, who play currently abroad. This week's number one is an experienced international guard John Cox (194-81, agency: Pensack Sports). He could not help Pau-Lacq-Orthez (22-12) in their last game.
