Guaros 2 delivered the sixth consecutive win on Tuesday night. This time they beat 5th ranked Metropolitanos (2-4) 98-85 in Caracas. Guaros 2 shot 63.3 percent from the field. The best player for the winners was international point guard Heissler Guillent (186-86) who scored 20 points and 8 assists. International center Gregory Echenique (206-90, college: Creighton, agency: Pensack Sports) chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots). The former international center Alejandro Barrios (204-79) produced 23 points and 6 rebounds for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Undefeated Guaros 2 (6-0) have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place with a perfect record of 6 victories in a row. Metropolitanos lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keep the fifth position with four games lost. Guaros 2 will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Metropolitanos' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Caracas to the arena Comuna.
