Guaros 2 delivered the sixth consecutive win on Tuesday night. This time they beat 5th ranked Metropolitanos (2-4) 98-85 in Caracas. Guaros 2 shot 63.3 percent from the field. The best player for the winners was international point guard Heissler Guillent (186-86) who scored 20 points and 8 assists. International center Gregory Echenique (206-90, college: Creighton, agency: Pensack Sports) chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots). The former international center Alejandro Barrios (204-79) produced 23 points and 6 rebounds for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Undefeated Guaros 2 (6-0) have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place with a perfect record of 6 victories in a row. Metropolitanos lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keep the fifth position with four games lost. Guaros 2 will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
