Flamengo were better in each component of the game and deservedly celebrated an easy victory at the end. Marcelinho Machado (200-F/G-75, agency: Interperformances) led the victors with 22 points. Horacio Martinez (190-G-70) answered with 16 points and 8 boards for Millonarios. Bruno Abratanski added 13 points and 7 boards in a losing case. Millonarios continued the action against the hosting Trouville and were tamed 76:96. The visitors managed to keep the hosts in visibility in the first half and trailed 34:43 at the interval. But Uruguayan team raised the tempo and ran away for good in the third period. Martin Aguilera (195-F-87) launched 19 points and 10 boards for Trouville. Bruno Abratanski and Alejandro Espana had chipped in 16 points apiece for Millonarios. Horacio Martinez (190-G-70) added 14 points in defeat. Bolivian team failed to deliver a single win as they were edged by Argentinean Libertad 54:130 in Round 3. Libertad was obviously a stronger team and accumulated an unassailable 64:29 halftime lead. The scoring show continued after the break as Marcos Saglietti (189-G-86) and Martin Muller (191-G-85) registered 29 points apiece in a win. Bruno Abratanski responded with 15 points in a losing case.

Brazilain Cadet team continued their winning pace at the South American championship in Argentina. They crushed Bolivia in the second round of action in Group A. This became the second win in a row for Brazilian players and they remained on top of the ladder with 2-0 record. Brazil quickly established a safe lead as they cleared off to a 47:14 distance at halftime.

At the end of the DIMABBOL League 2006, the Bolivian Basketball Federation (FBB) decided that Champion team Nonis Santa Cruz will represent the country in the South American League, while the DIMABBOL ruuner-up Amistad de Chuquisaca-Sucre will represent Bolivia in the 2007 South American Championship for Clubs.
At the end of the DIMABBOL League 2006, the Bolivian Basketball Federation (FBB) decided that Champion team Nonis Santa Cruz will represent the country in the South American League, while the DIMABBOL ruuner-up Amistad de Chuquisaca-Sucre will represent Bolivia in the 2007 South American Championship for Clubs. His teammate Victor Hugo Anez (199-F-83) was named the tournemnt MVP, while young player Julio Arispe, of Amistad de Sucre, was awarded as the Revelation of the Year.

But yesterday the President of Bolivian Basketball Federation (FBB), Juan Revollo, announced that his federation decided to suspend and to fine the clubs Univalle de La Paz, La Salle de Santa Cruz and La Salle de Cochabamba, due to various reasons. It seems that Univalle had also asked to the FBB to postpone the Final Round Robin of DIMABBOL, but Revollo' s answer was very clear: no way. Considering that two of the teams suspended are among the qualified for the Finals, the tournemnt will be played by only four teams, Amistad, Nonis, Ingenieros and Economia, and it should start tonight
