 Boston College agreed terms with the brazilian power forward/center Lucas Costa (204-C/F-80). He played the past weekend scoring 2 and 7 points in the victories against Liceo Mixto and Universidad Catolica. With this signing, Boston completed the roster with B.J. Puckett (203-F-83, agency: Tank Sports, college: Clayton St.), Trevon Bryant (206-F, college: Cal.St.-Dominguez H.) and Lucas Costa as the foreign players.

 After a disappointing start with a 1-6 record in the south group, the leaders of Provincial Osorno decided to end the contract with the argentinian head coach Gustavo Noria . To replace Noria, Provincial Osorno agreed terms with Ivan Gallardo . He won two Dimayor titles with Provincial Llanquihue in the years 2002 and 2003 and also a Libsur title with Deportes Ancud in 2006. The last coaching experience for Gallardo was with Provincial Llanquiohue the past season.

 With two victories against Universidad de Los Lagos and Provincial Llanquihue, Deportivo Valdivia reach the first place in the south group after round 7.
