Group D - Quito (23/Feb - 25/Feb)
Very big surprise from Group D. The Ecuadorian team advanced to the next step of the League, and the same made Cocodrilos, while Franca has been eliminated. No surprise, insted, for the elimination of Piratas, which sent on the court a large group of junior and cadet players. To give an idea, while Mavort started game with Sean Houston, Jeff Escalante, Marco Sánchez, José Obando, and Todd Wiliams, Piratas had in starting five Jairo Mendoza, John Galindo, John Cardona, Steward Baldonado and Daniel Restrepo. No surprise the win of Ecuadorians by 32 points
