 After falling to Peppers the night before, Dorados de Playa del Carmen took an immediate revenge winning the second match 100-91, coming back at the top of the table. Greg Lewis (198-F-78, college: Winthrop) was the game MVP, with 33 points for Dorados. Aluxes, instead, did not take any revenge, falling again to Leopardos, this time 80-102.  In the last games of Liga del Sureste, Peppers de Progreso plevailed over Dorados 101-82, surpassing them at the top of the table. Forrest Fisher (193-G-84) was the man of the game, with 35 points, and Rodrigo Perez (200-F-74) added 19 points in Peppers. James Penny (198-F-76, college: TCU) was the best in Dorados, with 26 points. In the other game of the night, Eric Martin (197-F-76, college: Cincinnati) scored 36 points to lead Leopardos to and easy win, 107-70, over Aluxes de Cancun.

 During the past weekend, Dorados confirmed their leadership defeating Marineros, and Aluxes felt two times to Peppers, 90-103 in Game 1 and 92-96 in Game 2. Eric Carr (200-F-71, college: Penn St.) scored 29 pts and Tomas Rios (175-G-84) added 14 in Aluxes in the first match, while Mark Borders (188-G-84, college: Tampa) scored 24 and Ronnie Coleman (199-F-68, college: USC) (199-F-68, college: USC) added 20 pts at the winning side.

 LBS team Leopardos de Mrida filled the last import spot in roster signing Harold Arceneaux (198-F-77, college: Weber St.), last at Quilmes Mar del Plata, Argentina. He replaces in the Merida line-up Lawrence Nelson (208-C-76, college: Tulane), who never joined the team.

 We are not yet able to give you a complete standings table, for sure we can say that in 2008 Liga del Sureste Leopardos and Peppers are doing better than expected, and favourite team Dorados is a little bit disappointing. In fact, on friday night, they felt to Leopardos on the road, 82-83. Nick Jones (190-G-81, college: UCSB) was the man of the game, hitting the game-winning three pointer with few seconds to go for Leopardos.
