The deal with Filion was delayed las week becasue the player was injured. Cordon inked Andrew Jackson (185-G) replacing Stan Blackmon. Howard Wilkerson (198-F-84, college: Wofford) arrived today to play for Sayago, replacing Charlie Burgess. Wilkerson already played in Uruguay during the Metro League, for Goes. The three teams involved in the trasactions are trying to avoid the relegation to the Metro League. |
