Hoyas celebrate AABA title

Hoyas earned the League title. They edged Shottaz in the decisive third game of the championship series to lift the trophy. Daren Webster (G) nailed 13 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the champions.
Shottaz snatched a narrow 26:24 halftime lead. The teams traded baskets throughout the third term. Shottaz entered the fourth quarter up by two points. But Hoyas turned things around in the final period. They held Shottaz to just 6 points and eked out a 55:46 victory. Ian Connor (G, college: Mansfield, PA) chipped in 11 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and issued 7 assists for Hoyas. Colin Harrigan (183-G, college: Clinton CC, IA) answered with 14 points for Shottaz.
